bioinfo.guru is an online bioinformatics training platform offering live instructor-led workshops, courses, and educational resources in bioinformatics, computational biology, structural biology, and data science for life scientists. Our services are provided by Dr. Manish Datt and the bioinfo.guru team.

2. Eligibility

By registering for any workshop or service on this website, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or are accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
  • The information you provide during registration is accurate and complete.
  • You have the technical requirements (computer, internet connectivity, required software) to participate in the workshop you register for.

3. Workshop Registration & Participation

Registration for a workshop is complete only upon receipt of the full registration fee payment. Submitting a pre-registration form (expression of interest) does not guarantee a seat or confirm your participation.

  • Seat Allocation: Seats are limited and allocated at our discretion. Submission of payment does not automatically guarantee enrollment if a workshop is oversubscribed.
  • Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email with access details upon successful registration and payment verification.
  • Prerequisites: You are responsible for reviewing and meeting any stated prerequisites before registering.

4. Payments

All payment transactions are processed securely through third-party payment gateways — Razorpay (for Indian participants) and PayPal (for international participants). bioinfo.guru does not store your payment card details. By completing a payment, you agree to the terms of the respective payment gateway.

All fees are quoted in the currency stated on the registration page (INR or USD). International participants are responsible for any currency conversion charges or bank fees imposed by their financial institution.

5. Intellectual Property & Course Content

All course materials, lecture recordings, slides, handouts, code notebooks, and resources shared during workshops are the intellectual property of bioinfo.guru and/or the respective instructors. All rights are reserved.

As a registered participant, you are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access course materials for your own individual learning. You must not:

  • Record, reproduce, copy, screenshot, or redistribute live sessions or session recordings without explicit written permission.
  • Share course materials, login credentials, or access links with individuals who are not registered participants.
  • Sell, sublicense, or use course content for commercial purposes.
  • Publish or post course materials publicly on any platform, including YouTube, social media, or file-sharing services.

6. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and professional environment during live sessions and any associated communication channels (email, messaging groups). The following behaviours are prohibited:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or offensive communication based on gender, race, religion, nationality, or any other characteristic.
  • Disruption of live sessions or deliberate attempts to impede the learning experience of other participants.
  • Sharing confidential workshop access credentials or links with unauthorised individuals.

bioinfo.guru reserves the right to remove any participant from a workshop without refund if these standards are violated.
